This year’s second adults grading will be on Saturday 22nd of May.
To be eligible to grade all students will need to submit their signature sheets and grading fee 1 week prior to the grading day, and have completed their minimum class requirements.
Parents are allowed to watch, and to take both pictures and videos of the grading.
It is recommended that fellow students who aren’t grading are attending this event to watch and learn, assist and get a sneak peek of what lays ahead of them.
Important Note:
Since Sir introduced a new syllabus so short before the grading, you can pick the techniques.
Attendees can decide between old- and new-techniques being tested. Number of techniques are from the old syllabus but if there is/are (a) technique(s) that you don’t have signed off and you would like to replace it with a new technique – go ahead.
Also note, once successfully graded, there’s no pick and choose anymore and you have to learn the new syllabus for that belt.
Little side note:
Grandmaster Sung Soo Lee announced that the Syllabus has and will be changed/adjusted to reflect the standards of the Australian Hapkido Federation.
Unfortunately I can’t tell you the results just yet but I know that Robert passed the grading, well done mate.
Fortunately Sir asked Grandmaster Sung Soo Lee for immediate result for Robert only, since he will be travel the USA for some time and it was the last day in Sydney for him.
Congratulations Robert, you have successfully graded to 5th Kub.
Tonight is the night – for those students who did not pass the grading.
Four students did not pass plus one was sick on the actual grading day, and Sir gives her the chance to attend this re-grading in order to proof they’re ready for their new belts.
It is tradition within our club to take the belt testing very serious.
Not everyone will pass and I hope that all students keep that in the back of their mind for any time they attend a class.
Partners are needed for the belt testing, so show your support and be there tonight if you can. Help out with holding that shield and watch your fellow Hapkidoist grade successfully.
